Costin looked over at her and smiled. It didn't even occur to him that this was moving fast. It wasn't like a trip to italy was a big deal for him. He was there all the time. He would go there in the summer especially and stay with his grandparents, spending the days on the beach. To him, Italy was about as exciting as a trip to London for someone who lived an hour away. it was fun, but it wasn't that infrequent to be counted as super special. He took another drink and smiled. "It'll be later though, so you'd have time to get things in order so your assistants know where everything is" He didn't know a lot about the bar business, but he had a feeling she didn't tell her employees everything about running her bar, especially since until now she was there all the time.
He looked over at her. "You might not want to drink too much tonight." He advised. "I have wine at home if you want more later." He added, for someone who owned a bar, she had a very low tolerance for alchol. He could down both these bottles and still only be a bit tipsy. But she was also really thin, that might have something to do with it he figured. He started to eat, pouring himself a glass of red wine to go with his steak. It was cooked perfectly, of course. And it was nice and tender. This place did have amazing food. He took another bite and chewed slowly. He didn't open his mouth until he'd swallowed. "So how is yours?" he asked her. He wasn't a huge fan of seafood.

Gabrielle smiled as she looked to him and spoke, "Yes, I will have plenty of time to be able to get them all trained and ready. Then i will not need to worry about one tiny thing while we are together." That was what would be perfect. Gabrielle would be able to enjoy Costin and the idea of having Italy at their whims. Her smile couldn't help but grow with the ideas of where they might go besides there and what else it was that they might do. Her heart thumped with glee as she had the ideas in her head. They had time, didn't they, and now they would have the opportunity since she and him were in no rush with their lives. Her smile grew at the idea as she sipped at the drink on the table. After that she looked to him and spoke once more, "I think I will begin the search for a partner when I return home."
He spoke about her drinking and she looked to the wine in her hand. He was probably right, but she had drank a large amount last time he'd seen her drink too much. Her hope was that he would love her tonight and that she'd remember every torturous touch of it. Though she remembered most of the first time her mind was slightly blurred. She took a bite of her food and relished in the creamy taste. She then looked to him with a large grin as she spoke, "It is delicious, of course." The meal went by with some idle chit-chat. Gabrielle was enjoying her night and to know that he was there made her happier than she could explain. As they finished up Gabrielle looked to him with a grin and waited to see what it was that they would be doing next.

Costin chewed slowly and looked up at the waiter as he came back over, asking if they wanted anything else. "Did you want dessert?" He asked Gabrielle. He didn't usually get dessert, he preferred to fill up on his main dish and then if he wa hungry later, he could get ice cream or something. He waited for her answer, he didn't mind waiting for her to eat. It gave him a reason to just... be with her longer. He liked spending time with her and just... being around her. It made him happy. He finished his steak and looked over at her. He was a pretty fast eater. He had always been, his mom use to joke that he ate like it was going to be taken away from him.

Gabrielle was still eating when he asked if they were going to want dessert. She shook her head as she continued to eat her food. Once she'd finished she looked up with a smile and spoke, "No." Other ideas were on her mind that included him naked in a bed for dessert, but she wasn't going to tell him that. If she did, then her letting him treat her to a nice night out would have been ruined. Once she'd eaten about half her plate she rested back in her chair with no intentions of eating anymore. She smiled a bit after she wiped her mouth to be sure that she wasn't smiling with a mess on her face. She lifted the wine glass to her lips and then she spoke gently, "You do realize that despite the many dates I have been on, not many have been this exciting, correct?" She wasn't lying to him either. Men thought that she needed grandure, and they tried but many just failed. In the end, good company was all it took.
