Ginny smiled. "Probably. I am still debating on having some of them from santa. I know the boys don't believe in him but Lily might and I'm not ready to tell her." Lily was her baby, she didn't like seeing Lily get older. Ginny set the table to cleaning itself off, she loved magic, and she look at her husband with a smirk. It was kind of funny, seeing Harry being romantic. Sometimes she still felt like they were in Hogwarts. She was just... awkward and he was Harry Potter. All the girls in school wanted him, not that he noticed. But most of them wanted him because he was Harry Potter, not because they saw how nice he was, how humble. The didn't see how strong he was, strong enough to do what had to be done to save everyone, even though he was only fifteen
She got up and walked over to him. "Yes really." She leaned over and kissed him. "Mrs. Potter would like to go to the living room and watch a movie, one that we can't watch with the boys because they'd spend it fake gagging everytime two people kissed." She grinned and stood upright, One of the upsides of Harry's muggle upbringing, they had some muggle things around the house. They had a TV and movies. And Harry had been able to properly set it up, unlike the muggle devices they'd had at the Weasley house growing up.

Harry nodded. "Yeah that sounds good Gin." he agreed. He had hoped that James or Albus hadn't said anything to Lily yet. "Hopefully our boys are good enough not to have spoiled that for her yet." he said. He smiled at the way Ginny protected their children. It was very endearing for him and he loved her more for it. Harry figured that his mum would have been the same way had she lived long enough to do so.
Harry got up from the chair and gave Ginny a kiss on the cheek. He could sit through a romantic movie especially if it was with his wife. "That sounds good love." he said. He laughed at the idea of his sons, but knew Ginny was right. Lily did seem to enjoy the movies that her mother liked but certainly not the boys.

Charlie's mind was filled with ideas and thoughts of things that he should be doing over this holiday break instead of sitting in his and Bill's old bedroom letting his mind and thoughts get to him. Without a second thought Charlie threw on a warmer sweater and grabbed his broom and wand. Upon jogging down the stairs he walked into the kitchen to see his mother. He smiled as he pressed his lips to her head and told her that he was going out for a fly. He heard her mumble something about checking on his nieces and nephews along with Ginny being over later. He nodded that he'd take a peak out on them later when he remembered. Before he was even fully out the door he was throwing a leg over the broom and soaring into the air. An hour or more had to pass by before he came down to see his home in view again. Once he did though things seemed off. Something just gave him the chills. He didn't attempt to explain it.
Charlie heard a scream, but he was still to high to see what was happening, but his niece's voice had been heard. By the time he got there all he saw was black cloaked figures disappearing with Lily. His mind went into hyperdrive immediately as he looked for any cue to what was going on. He landed and an into his house and screamed for Albus and James. Upon seeing both at the house he went to his mother and told her to keep the house locked up and an eye out because he was going to Ginny and Harry's. His mother went to object and Charlie gave her a look that said he didn't care as he told her about Lily. His mother began to freak out, but he didn't give her time to protest or worry more than he could handle. He left his mother with his nephews as a 'pop' was heard. Standing outside Ginny and Harry's property, he wasn't sure what to do.
This was all supposed to be over. There was supposed to be an end to this. This was all his fault. Why hadn't he checked on them earlier? Charlie ran to the door wondering ho to tell his sister and brother-in-law the news. Charlie made his way to the door and he felt his fist pound on it out of frustration he'd banged it harder than he'd intended. he spoke out, "Harry, Ginny, it's Charlie."

Harry had just put the blu-ray in the player when he heard the knock at the door. He was annoyed by the disturbance, but knew that someone wouldn't be calling at this hour unless it was important. When Harry heard the tone of voice of his brother in law Charlie, his suspicions were almost confirmed.
Harry walked over to the door and opened it to find Charlie in a worried state. "Charlie is everything alright?" he asked. He could tell that something was wrong. He knew that Charlie was over at the burrow for the holidays, but it wasn't normal for him to turn up unannounced like this.

Ginny had gone to the kitchen and put popcorn on to pop. She then back to the living room and sat down, watching Harry get the disc. She liked Muggle technology, especially this one. She smiled and got up to check the popcorn, it'd be ready soon. She was doing that when she heard the knock at the door. "who is that?" She asked, taking the popcorn with her when she walked into the front hall. She frowned when she saw her brother. He looked distraught, upset. Her stomach turned, something was wrong. Oh god, something- "Charlie what's happened?" She asked, she could already feel her throat closing. She still held the popcorn bag in her hands, they were steady, the only thing that didn't feel ready to go a million miles a minute.
Charlie had been staying at the burrow. There he was with Mum, Dad and Lily. That meant something had to have happened to one of them. Charlie wouldn't be like this over something Small. Charlie was always calm and collected. He never over reacted to anything. So she was getting more worried as time went on. "Charlie? What happened? Is is mum?" She asked, she was always going on to her mum about the food she ate. Molly Weasley liked her fattening foods. But last time Ginny had seen her mum she seemed perfectly fine. Not out of breath or anything, even though she'd spent the day cleaning up the house.

Charlie saw the door open and his brother in law before him. His heart raced again, and the face his family made only made him feel worse. He stood there looking at Harry prepared to tell him he could have done more, but words did not release from is mouth. His sister was the next to arrive and he blinked before he got the gall to say anything. He looked between them and spoke, "Lily, she's gone. I was flying. I heard her yell for her Mum. I did what I could. They took her." They...they. How would he tell this to them? They were in black, and it was obvious that this wasn't good. Who could they be.
Charlie looked to them and then he spoke again, "Black cloaked figures." He looked down shame coming over him and then he looked up again, "I couldn't do anything." They were back, and the fact that they were back was the scariest part of it all. Who were they working for was even a scarier idea. Harry got rid of Voldemort, who were they now working for. Charlie looked up and saw their faces. His own guilt rose, as he knew he should have done more. He had to have been able to.

Harry could tell that Ginny was worried so he put his hand on her shoulder. When Charlie spoke, it was as if Harry's chest exploded. It felt nearly as bad as when his scar would bother him while Voldemort was still alive. Voldemort, it couldn't be, he had finished him off for good nineteen years before. He was the head of the auror department if there had been any inklings he should have known about it.
Harry felt tears start to well in his eyes but he tried to fight them back. He would need to be strong for Ginny. "Charlie come back with me to the burrow." he said. "We'll find her." he said. He turned and looked his wife in the eyes. "Ginny I'm so sorry." he said. "Gin, you have to go to Ron and Hermione's" he said.
He knew that as he said it that his wife would do no such thing. After all these years he still needed to protect his family. His family, he had let them down. There was no reason why this should have happened. He had chased down the rest of the death eaters himself to make sure this would never happen again.

Ginny waited for her brother to say something and as soon as the words left his mouth, she felt her knees buckle. She managed to stay upright, trying to calm down enough to ask rational questions. Charlie answered the before they could come out of her mouth. Black Cloaked figures. Harry had made a lot of enemies over the years, between killing voldemort and his job an auror. But she didn't blame him, not in the least. This was the fault of no one but the people that took her, that took Lily. Oh god it sounded so wrong. The People that took Lily, it hurt just to think it. She wanted it to be a dream. she wanted it all to just be a nightmare. Of course it wasn't, this was real and they needed to do something and they needed to do it quickly before it was too late...
"I will do no such thing." Ginny snapped at him, She was not going to hide and cry into her sister in law's shoulder while the men looked for her daughter. She was going to be looking herself. "Did they apperate, like normal, or did they mist out like death eaters use to?" She asked. If they misted that would tell them something, if they didn't... well it didn't give them any sort of clue. She assumed ex death eaters still had the ability to do normal apperation. She hadn't seen them do it, but she never really cared to pay attention to how they left, just that they left. She bit her lip and ran a hand through her hair. "I'm going to change quickly, then we'll go looking." Her dress and barefeet weren't meant for anything like this. She ran up to her room and quickly changed into pants and shoes.
