Lily woke up and ate her breakfast. She pulled on her new jeans and then a nicer top. She was looking a bit more girly today but not over the top. She knew she was supposed to walk out the front door but it was just so much faster to just walk on the roof and shimmy down the side of the house. She opened her window and climbed out. She grabbed the handy down broom. She couldn't wait till next year when she got to get all new things. She mounted the broom and pushed off flying through the air. She knew she was supposed to tell people when she went off flying but again she didn't want to wait for permission nor did she want to wait only to have the adults tell her no. She was meeting up with her friends over at the lake. It wasn't a swimming day but they all enjoyed flying over the water.
Lily let go of the broom and tied her red hair back. She looked around smiling at her friends. They were all boys of coarse seeing as all the girls said that flying was for boys. She always thought they were weird for saying that she loved to fly ever since her dad and mom taught her how too she was always running off with a broom somewhere. She wasn't supposed to but she was a Potter since when did they ever do anything that they were supposed to do. She had fun flying around for hours. That was until they started to play a friendly game of quidditch and one of the boys couldn't catch. They lost the ball and she sighed well there was that fun. She flew down to the shore line and got off the broom she placed it on her shoulder as she started to walk home. She knew she could have flown and she would but she wanted to walk for a little while. That was until she asked the time and someone told her it was well past lunch time.
Lily ran and mounted the broom pushing off the ground hard and took off. Something her older brother's had taught her how to do. She flew to her window and put the broom away and took her hair down. She changed her shirt so it looked like she wasn't sweaty from playing the game. She walked out of her room and down the stairs. Keeping an eye out for either of her parents. Finally when she dubbed it to be clear she walked all the way down the stairs and into the kitchen. She started to go through the kitchen trying to find something to eat.

Harry had taken a half day off so he could spend some time with Ginny and Lily. He was off on the weekends but he still felt that he didn't get to see them enough. Harry walked into the kitchen to find his daughter already there.
Harry smiled at Lily. "Hey Lils." he said, using his pet name for his.daughter. "I took the afternoon off so I could spend some time home for a change." he said. He did get to be home a lot more as the head of the department, but still not as much as he'd like.

She had a piece of string cheese in her mouth when she peered from behind the door up at her father. She smiled the best she could still holding the food between her lips. She quickly finished eating and closed the fridge and walked over hugging her father. She was very much her parent's daughter she loved both of them equally though sometimes she favored her dad only because she didn't see him as much as her mother. " Well good. I like having you home." She said and looked up at him," It's less lonely." She said out loud. She wouldn't openly admit it but she missed her brothers and she missed having people to break the rules with. " I want to go to Hogwarts daddy..." She said," I want to be like James and Albus..."
She really hated being left behind and it felt wrong all the Potter kids were so close in age that it was hard for them to be away from one another because they were so close. She talked to Teddy a lot. Teddy understood everything and always told her that she'd get put in the right house and be taken care of. She was going to be an extraordinary witch. "I flew today dad. Please don't tell mom." She smiled at him she was more open with her dad and doing things against the rules because she knew she could take his disapproval but still get a high five.

Harry smiled as his daughter hugged him. He looked down at the girl who was the clone of her mother. He knew that she had taken after both of them in personality though. Harry laughed inwardly at the thought of the mix. "I know baby." he said. He knew that Lily had been wanting to go to hogwarts ever since James had started over a year ago. She had become even more insistent about it since Albus had gone as well. "You'll be going next September and then Hogwarts will have an amazing student." he said.
Harry laughed at the thought. He knew that Lily was a lot like him in her rule breaking. He had a soft spot for her, even though he loved all his children equally. She reminded him quite a bit of himself. "You know you should really tell your mother before you do things like that Lily." he said gently. "I won't tell her, but if she finds out we are both in trouble." he added. "How about Saturday morning the three of us can go out for a fly?" he asked with a smile.
