Lucy sighed and wrapped her arms around her knees and looked over at him as he spoke she really didn't know what else to tell him he was being really nice and she really wasn't sure she was all the comfortable with it. But she looked over at him and smirked little bit and shrugged her shoulder," Well you are really nice Sorin shame I didn't know that before I came an easy girl." He smirked and shrugged her shoulder and bit her lip wanting to get to know him and that freaked her out but she surpressed it. She wasn't someone who liked to give people the upper hand on her. She looked over at him as she went and started to talk about who he was and what he enjoyed doing she actually found it slightly relaxing. She looked over to him from the fire and nodded her head.
" I agree that we need to take things slow really I get that. Or else our story will never hold up. I enjoy reading almost all the time. I do love to swim. Quidditch is a guilty pleasure of mine. I find almost any house including my own to be annoying. But I find certain people worth it. Like my cousin, Brennan, and you..." She added to him and looked around and biting her lip a second. " My faovirte thing to do after a long day is have hot coacoa and play wizards chess. I rarely wear anything that makes me look to girly namely dresses. But I like the looks people give me when they do see me all dressed up. I'm afraid of my parents and grandparents." She said but then got quiet waiting for his turn.

"You were always too busy hating me." He shrugged and walked over towards the fire as she started to talk about what she liked, that they had a lot in common. "Okay um.. Well I have my older brother and younger sister, when we were kids, my brother and I would take my sister's dolls and play Badmitten with them until Ileana would tell Mum." He said. He had always idolized his older brother, he even cried when Costin left for school, but he wasn't going to tall her that. He also wasn't going to talk about trying to chase the train... He thought more about himself. He didn't talk about himself a lot so he didn't really know much about what to say. Generally people didn't care to hear about him, they wanted to know about his family.
"Um... I'm a really great cook. My mom has been having me make her birthday cake since I was nine." That was something most people didn't know about him. "and I was once scouted as a model, when I was four." His mum had turned the guy down, mostly because she thought he was a creeper. And besides, it would be hard to explain to the modeling world why he had to vanish for the school year. And he was happy she had turned the guy down. He couldn't picture living a life like that. He shook his head and clicked his tongu, thinking about it again. "Um... I really dont' know what else to... oh I might get in on my family's business. My uncles weren't sure because I have a different last name, and because Costin didn't want to be a part of it... but my mom has been bitching about it for years."[/b[

She looked over at the guy and smiled a bit seeing him coming closer she kind of liked having him close. No she didn't she hated it. She had to tell herself this a couple of times before she finally got it. She bit her lower lip and listened to him talk and it was interesting. He was actually very interesting and he wasn't lying which was weird," You used your sisters dolls as a birdie?" She chuckled a little bit and shook her head," That's horrible, no wonder she hates everyone." She smiled and looked around the room it was a nice room once she actually thought about it. She looked over at him and wasn't surprised he was scouted to be a model he was handsome and very hot. She mentally told herself to shut up and look somewhere else so she would stop thinking about him like that.
" Well it's good you like to cook because I can't cook. But I love to eat. I'm not afraid of becoming fat. But I'm really active always working out and stuff... She trailed off thinking about it and then smiled," I like to wear hats though I'm afraid they don't look good with my outfit." She bit her lower lip and blinked a few times. " most of the time I like I like hot liquids over cool ones. I hate not wearing matching socks. I love wearing my pajama's. I think muggles are painfully boring yet interesting at the same time. I love to travel but only for a little while because I actually love winter." She bit her lower lip and looked at him," I love suckers, I dislike chacolate. [/b]" She said and bit her lower lip," I'm wonderful with magic and it's not because I'm just smart but because I genually love magic and want to make sure to use it in the best ways. Even if it means hexing people." [/blockquote]

Sorin walked over and sat next to her. "Ileana doesn't hate anyone. I think she realized that no one could torment her more than her brothers, so hating anyone was pointless." He smiled. "Costin always told me it was our job to bug her, as her older brothers we had to traumatize her away from boys forever. It didn't work, but it was still pretty fun to do." He smiled, remembering it. Their mum had really laid into them about it everything they would torture their sister. But she never really had it in her to really punish them beyond taking things away. Their Aunt Laurielle always said it was because she realized how important family was. How she had come so close to loosing her husband and Costin when she was on trial, though she'd technically done nothing to deserve it
"Are there people that like mismatched socks? Nevermind, I bet Monroe would love it." He referred to Brennan's sister. Monroe was a bit strange, especially when it came to clothes, but whatever. He looked at his... girlfriendish person. "I don't eat eggs or pork. Not for ethical reasons, I just don't like them. When I was six I broke my arm in three places after Costin convinced me to try jumping from the roof into the pool. I cannot whistle but I can flower my tongue." He stuck out his tongue, folding it into the three leave clover thing that people found weird. "Boxer Briefs, not boxers or briefs, my mother does not cut my hair despite what Britton tried to get people to believe and I'm allergic to strawberries. I ate one and nearly died six years ago."

Lucy looked over at him and smiled a little bit leaning her head down on her knees but her eyes boring into his. She really did have deep eyes and she had to admit that the boy had amazing eyes. She listened intently," Oh yes great the protective older brother over poor little sister. Really makes the brothers look like butts." She teased and listened she found his honesty refreshing she could listen to people talk for hours and it would make her mind stop. She sighed and looked over at him and bit her lip, she wasn't sure she should tell him but she figured she could tell him and she wouldn't hate him she looked at him and bit her lip. She smiled a little bit," Strawberries that's odd but yet interesting." She nodded her against her knee.
" I broke my leg in four spots. I was mad and ran away and instead of stopping I jumped off a cliff into the ocean but my leg bent the wrong way." she said and sighed a little bit," I tell people I'm allergic to certain vergetables so I wont have to eat them." She said and looked around and bit her lip thinking about it. " I'm deadly allergic to turkey anything that touches turkey or anything will close my air way in less than two minuets and yeah." She shrugged her shoulders and sighed," I have trouble sleeping I can't turn my brain off. Which is a big reason why I turn to so much sex. It literally makes me tired so I can sleep." she shrugged her shoulders and bit her lower lip. She was a bit shy about admitting that fact.

He shrugged. "We've lightened up now. She's even had a date that we didn't intimidate... though I do think that sometimes they still are afraid of the idea of us. Find a guy and tell him about a girl with two older brothers, he'd be wary, tell him the brothers are of the Vander Wende Family... He's pissing himself. Everyone knows if you mess with one of us, we will descend upon you like the plague." He chuckled. "No turkey, got it. Good to know. I don't want you to die." He smiled and looked at her. "So how did you break your leg?" He asked. She didn't mention how it happened. He hada feeling it was an interesting story though. He smiled a bit and looked at her. "You know, sometimes, you actually seem like you're a teenage girl instead of a pissed off middle aged woman." He said.
"when I have trouble sleeping I go to the kitchens, they make me meringue cookies... with magic I guess and they make me sleep.' He said. "When I'm at home Costin and I have massive video game tournaments." His family had technology. Muggle stuff, they lived near muggles and muggles tended to find families weird if they didn't have TVs and whatnot. It was dated anyway, the idea of living without Television and what not. they even had a dish washer... it never got used, but it apparently came with the house. "My parents are trying to convince all their kids to give their future kids Romanian names, like we have." He bit his lip. "But Romanian names are a bit... off." He shrugged.

Lucy looked over at him and smiled and bit her lower lip and looked over at him," I have always thought Romanian names was very interesting and unique." She srugged her shoulders," I think you Vander Wende boys are actually quite fun to talk to you're either easy to talk to with everything being fun. Or sarcastic banter which is still fun." She shrugged and looked at him," I wont eat after nine at night unless I'm drinking. I want to keep a cute body as long as I can." She said biting her lip," I never know how to stop my brain. It's like it keeps going and always keeps going and going and I just want to kick someone people who turn their brains off. Tobin wont stay up late to play chess with me anymore." She said," I kept him up for 36 hours because I wanted to plaay chess and debate who the greatest wizard was. " She shrugged.
She looked over at the boy and tilted her head," Uhm Sorin....What's a video game?" She asked him. She unlike more people were very old school and never did anything that had to do with modern muggle things she was trying to get what people called an ipod but she wasn't having much luck. she looked over at him." My parents caught me in a lie and instead of letting my dad take his belt to me I ran out of the house. So I kept running he sent my older brother after me but I ran and our house is hidden and off the beaten path next to this beautiful cliff where you can look out across the ocean and instead of lettly my brother's drag me back I jumped off. It was a lot longer of a drop that I had thoughand it is sort of rocky so I dove into the water breaking my ankle then I was hit by and under tide that bent my knee forward snapping the knee. Thrashed in the under tide twisting the leg around snapping it in two more places." She told him the story and just sat there.

Sorin had opened his mouth to tell her about videos games, but closed it as she started to talk about her leg. About how she'd run to keep from being beaten and jumped of a cliff. That was... so Lucy. He could honestly see it in his head. Of course he was seeing her as she was now, age seventeen, running through the grounds of their home, and jumping off a cliff. "Well I imagne it would have hurt less than a beating. At least with a broken leg you get pain killers." He commented and brushed some dust from his pant leg. He glanced over at her. He'd never been beaten. His parents didn't do that sort of thing. They had their own ways of punishment, even his uncles didn't beat their kids, again, they had their ways, sometimes worse the physical beatings.
"Anyway, Video games are these... it's hard to explain. Muggle TV's, you have to have one of those, then you hook this system up to the TV and you play games on it. You'd have to see it to understand. It can be mindless, but if you really try, and you think about what you're doing, then you can be really great at it." He smiled, his mum hated those games, but whatever. "When I'm not at balls I'm going to be looking for a flat to move into. My mum doesn't want me to move out so soon, but I feel like I have to. I don't want to live withmy parents forever. I want to get out as soon as possible. Just because I want to be independant. I don't like the idea of depending on them." He shrugged.

She looked over at him a bit impressed yet confused. " My family is kind of well not all of them but most of them are really against the whole muggle born world." She smiled and looked around and bit her lower lip and looked around, she smiled over at she went and moved her body against him a little bit. " This is the first time I've just sat and talked with another person that wasn't Brennan." She said a little surprised with that fact herself. " The pain really was bad I passed out from it so i really never felt anything. I really thought I got the better end of the deal." She smiled and shrugged her shoulders," Needless to say ever since that my father hasn't punished me with beating. He says I was crazy enough to jump off a cliff than take a beating that it'd be better just to lock the library or soemthing." She shrugged her shoulders thinking about everything her father did and hating the man all at once.
She looked over at him and nodded her head," I hate balls. Well dance balls I do like balls." She laughed a little and looked over at him. " Its nice to know you are as independent as I am. " She smiled and nodded her head, " These video games sound brainless and almost a little annoying." She shrugged a little bit and looked at him," But that will be something you'll have to teach me how to do so I can say I tried something that the muggle borns created." She said kind of interested in what a video game was. She looked over at him. " We have a tv at my house but it doesn't work. Or anything I've never seen anything my father brought home work or be intended for the muggle use. [/b]" She nodded her head," Which is why I usually go to Brennan's house but I never use any of it anyway." She shrugged. [/blockquote]

"TVs and video games have nothing to do with muggle borns." He said, looking at her. "It has to do with Muggles." He shrugged, there was a difference, a big difference to him. Muggle borns had magic... that was kind of a big thing. He ran a hand through his hair. "Well it's a small step, Brennan and I do share a bit of DNA." He shrugged. Though he didn't like spending time with Brennan's dad. Nigel was notoriously harsh... about everything. It was weird to see him compared to his wife. Heaven was nice, she was loving and all that jazz. Nigel... he couldn't love anything but work. At least that's how it normally felt. but apparently that was wrong because he loved Heaven enough to beg his parents to break off her betrothal to Michael and change it so Nigel would marry her.
Though it wouldn't have been hard to get Heaven's parents to do it. Nigel was better off on paper, because he was the eldest son and therefore got a bigger part of the company. But anyway, he pulled his head out of his thoughts. "Well once my parents hear about our dating, and being serious enough to call off your betrothal to Danbe, they'll want you to come over for dinner or something, and then I can show you video games. And they're not that mindless, not if you do it right." He shrugged. So Many people wrote them off, but really Video games could teach stratagy, hand eye cordination, they had a lot of upsides if done right, but that was the problem, so few people did it right. They wanted mindless violence.

" Sorry I know that I just I spend to much time in my family." She said referring to the mix up of her words. She wasn't spoiled she just grew up in a certain way and it was hard to always break the habits. She shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head," I suppose everyone has to take baby steps.' She smiled and bit her lower lip looking over at him. " I thought you were kind of cute you know in my first year on the train. Before we got sorted...." She smiled a little bit and shrugged her shoulders," But you were sorted into Gryffindor and I was Ravenclaw and I was told that most Gryffindors are too slow for us which is a total lie I mean...My dad was a Gryffindor and he is one of the smartest men I know." She shrugged her shoulders and looked over at him biting her lip a second.
" But then I met Brennan and there was a rule stating no family relationships with the best friend. But I'm pretty sure Brennan won't care anymore because she knows how upset Danbe makes me." She reasoned and looked over at him and smiled a little bit," Well now I am kid of excited to come over and play games on a television." she smiled and shook her head a little bit and looked around. She looked over at him," I wanted to be in Gryffindor or Slytherin..." She said looking over at him." My parents had an arranged marriage but they have this story and a love that's kind of hard to believe." She shrugged her head and looked around thinking about it. She wanted a love like that. " Look at this." she said taking the little box out of her pocket and popping it open to see a huge ring but it wasn't elegant it was gross or awkward.

"Lucy... there is no rule against best friends dating relatives." He said. "People do it all the time, especially when you have a family as big as all of us have." He quirked an eyebrow and turned away to yawn. "Brennan wouldn't care, if anything she'd get mad at me for it." He said and ran a hand through his hair. "Whoever told you that is full of shit." He shrugged and got up, walking back around the desk, grabbing his pumpkin juice and come back to sit down. He took a drink then offered it to her. "Now if you are a guy you can't date your best friend's sister, that's a big deal, but dating your friend's cousin is just fine... as long as you don't talk about sex or anything around them... because that's weird." He didn't care to hear any details about what his family did.
"Anyway, tomorrow we'll meet in the great hall before breakfast, people will see us talking, it'll get them talking, wondering what we're doing together, Then in Potions I'll sit next to you. Your partner can take my old spot." He shrugged, that would be the best way to go about it. He didn't want anyone to suspect them of lying... because he didn't want a mob of angrr Radcliffes to come after him. "Hey Lucy... have any of your cousins tried this before? Pretending to have a signifigant other so that they can get out of marriage?" he asked, curious about what they might do if they did find out it was all a lie. Of course his family would protect him, but that would start a pretty big war.
