He smiled. "There are plenty of girls who think they want the same thing I do, but they don't. No girl my age should have to settle down right now, before they've had the chance to really live." That and he'd never really been into girls his age. he didn't know why, but he found older women much more attractive. He just assumed it was because they'd experienced more. They didn't live in a world where everything was about themselves and where they lived. He glanced at her. "And most of the time they don't really want to. It sounds nice, but they would get bored after a while. And when I marry, I want it to be for good." His parents would probably hunt him down if he got a divorce anyway. they weren't fond of the concept. They actually were pretty against it.
"Well you've made a fantastic business out of it. You've worked hard on it." He stopped in front of her building. "I love working there." He walked in the door. "There could be dangers in the building. I'd feel awful if I walked you this far only for you to be attacked on the way up to your apartment." He smiled charmingly. "And it's not all you have. You have your sister, Your family. They do count." He said, "If your bar were to burn down tomorrow you'd still have them and I've never met them, but I would bet my left arm they'd do anything for you." He got on the elevator.

Gabrielle walked with him keeping up the pace as well as she could with her heels and drunkedness. She looked to him as they walked and she knew what he had meant. Marrying was only to be done once in her mind too. She smiled a bit as she looked to him and spoke again, "I want it to be forever when it happens to, and I suppose that is why I never rushed it. I just figured it would fall into my lap." She gave a bit more of a harsh lagh then she'd intended at the thought. She then shook her head gently as she spoke, "I shouldn't have assumed anything." She should have known better. She knew the saying about assumptions.
He talked about her business and he stopped. She looked to the building thinking he would leave her there. Her heart thumped with anxiousness. She then heard him say that he loved working there and she felt her heart plummet, maybe he should leave her there right now. He was her employee. She needed to let this go and end now. She went to take a step towards her door, but then he mentioned the dangers in her building. She laughed as she spoke, "Up we go then." He mentioned things she knew she had, and she sighed as she spoke, "Yes, I do, but I feel like I am in the way. I know they care, but it jsut...isn't the same."
She couldn't explain it to him, so she didn't try. Up the elevator they went and too her flat. she stepped out with him still with her and she looked to her door. She dug for her keys and then she unlocked the door. Once she did she stood there for a moment and looked to him. Before she could stop herself her lips met his. Softly she carassed his lips with hers and she felt a jut in her stomach.

Sorin smiled at her and waited as she unlocked the door. He was trying to think of another excuse to not leave when she kissed him. He kissed back, pulling back after a moment. "Gabrielle, i quit." He said, then kissed her again, this time he kissed her deeper, wrapping his arms around her waist. He knew the problems that came with her being his boss... and now that wasn't a problem. He would rather have her, than have this job. He thought about that a moment, then pulled back again. "Gabrielle, I can't." He said. "You're drunk. I'm not going to let myself do this without knowing for sure that you want it as much as I do." He bit his lip, hard. God he just wanted to shut up and take advantage of her, but he couldn't let himself do that, he actually cared about her.
He took a couple deep breaths, taking all his will power to not grab her and ravish her. He leaned back against the door jamb. "But I do still quit... because next time I see you, I want it to be on a date." He wished she wasn't drunk, then he'd feel just fine about what they'd been about to do. But... damn shewas a great kisser.

His restraint was killing her as he kissed her she wanted him to just give in and kiss her back. She wanted him to want her as much as she wanted him right now. He then pulled away and told her that he quit. She blinked for a moment unsure of what to say. She'd been about to step back and tell him no when he kissed her again. His arms held her to him and her heart beat against her chest quicker then she'd remembered was possible. She kissed him back and knew that this just felt right. Then he pulled away and said he couldn't. She'd assumed he meant quitting and she felt rejected a bit. She stepped back and she looked to him as he continued. When he spoke she laughed as she shook her head as she spoke, "I do and not just when I've been drinking." She saw his lip biting and his breath wasn't level.
She'd reached up with the intentions to lift his chin to look to her, but then he leaned back and spoke again. Gabrielle was in shock that he was saying these things to her. She'd figured he would have just wanted to sleep with her and leave, but she should have known better. She let her finger tips come to press again his chin and tilt it up with a smile as she spoke, "Fine, you're no longer a bartender then. Can we go inside now? I will make tea if you don't want to go past that." Not that Gabrielle dealing with a hot stove might be a good idea, but right now she just wanted him to stay even if he just slept with her without the physicality of it. She gave him a soft smile as she asked, "Please?" She stepped in her doorway unsure if he was going to follow as she kicked off her heels in a haphazard way and padded her way to the kitchen, door still open.

Costin smirked and followed her in. He knew that he'd have to be careful. It was taking so much to keep from jumping her. He nudged her shoes out of the way with his toe as he followed behind her. He walked into the kitchen with her and watched her. He'd have to find another job. Otherwise he'd go back to not having anything to do most of the time. He would find something pretty fast. Being good looking really helped at job interviews. Employers always said it didn't matter, but it did. He generally was hired by women. Though on that note, his apprinticeship was with a man. Most wandmakers were male. There was no real reason behind it, that's just how the statistics went. "Though don't bother making enough tea for me, I don't like the stuff." Yeah, he was English and hated tea
He stretched his arms up over his head, his t-shirt lifting to reveal a thin strip of smooth tan skin, quickly hiding it again as he put his arms down. He had a few hours before he generally went to bed... he didn't sleep much, but he functioned just fine without sleep. He knew muggles had a proper term for it, but he never bothered to learn it. "So how about it Gabrielle, you and I, next Friday, dinner." He quirked an eyebrow. He knew he was nearly ten years younger than her. she said she'd just turned thirty and he'd just turned twenty one, but that didn't matter to him. He was legal and she was attractive, and more than that. She was also smart and interesting. Something that he had been finding hard to come across recently.

Gabrielle had managed to get the pot on the stove by the time that he'd stood near her in the kitchen and seemed to watch her. She listened as he spoke, and once he did he turned off the stove and spoke, "Coffee instead?" Maybe, either way she'd hadn't wanted either. She'd just been looking for an excuse for him to come in. His mind seemed to be on something and she wrinkled her brow a bit as she looked at him. She wondered what it was that was on his mind, but she did not say anything. She lifted her kettle towards the back of her stove and then she leaned on the counter and looked to him.
At seeing his skin and felt her gut wanting to go towards him. She bit her lip and then she looked to him in his face as he spoke again. She smiled as she spoke, "Yes, but I think it unfair you are going to make me wait a whole week." She came over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist and looked up with a small smile as she felt rather short without her heels since there was about a seven inch difference compared to the normal four or five inches. She laughed a bit at how petite she felt as she spoke, "You know that I know a few other bars that you could apply at. Replacing you is going to be hell." She thought about asking him to take on partner with her, but she knew that probably wouldn't be any good for a relationship. Plus, that wasn't his dream.

"No thanks." He shook his head. He had just wanted to come in after her. He looked down at her, wrapping his arms around her waist again. Wow... she was short. He leaned down and pecked her lips. "I just wanted to come in." He glanced around her flat. It was huge, that didn't surprise him at all. She didn't seem the type to settle for something that wasn't worthy of her. "Well I need time to get everything put together. This is going to be the best, most incredible date you've ever had." He promised. He was going to make her feel like a princess, like she was the most important woman on the planet. He wanted her to feel special. He smiled at her and bit the inside of his cheek for a moment, thinking.
He picked her up bridal style, quite easily. She was thin, "Which way is your room?" He asked, He kissed her lips, then down her neck as he headed for her room. He kept telling himself he could draw a line. That he could stop before it went to far. He could do it, he was sure of it. He was Costin Nicolae, he could do anything. He laid her down on the bed and leaned down to kiss her again

He'd denied her the right of making him anything and she nodded as he made it clear that he wanted to follow her in. She laughed a bit as she spoke, "I was looking for an excuse to give you to follow me in." Weren't they a silly pair? One looking for an excuse to bring the other in and the other coming in just to come in. She laughed a bit as he held her and looked around. He began to explain to her why she had to wait and she pouted a bit, but then she gave in with a small, "Okay, you get a pass for now." She felt a bit silly wording it that way, but it all seemed to fit. An incredible date seemed like something she should expect, but she hoped he gave her forewarning on how to dress for the date once it got closer.
His arms moved to scoop her up and she laughed as she held onto him she then pointed to her room. He was on his way quickly and once they were on the way Gabrielle couldn't help the small moan that slipped form her lips as he kissed her neck. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath trying to keep some composure as she held onto him. Once they were on the bed Gabrielle let one hand reach up into his thick hair and run through it as the other reached next to them. The main white light turned off and the lights behind the curtain began to change their colors softly making the room significantly darker but still light enough to see. Gabrielle couldn't sleep in the dark. She'd never been able to explain why. So, she'd had the dimmer lights put in that matched her living room's style. Soon enough though she was so distracted that the lighting no longer mattered.

Costin took off his shirt and climbed up on the bed. He took it slow, at first. Kissing her lips, then down her neck. His hands ran over her body before slowly undressing her. He could hardly stand it any longer by the time he finslly got her undressed. He quickly got his own clothes off, letting them all fall to the floor...
Costin kissed her once again before laying down on the bed next to her. He panted a bit for a few minutes before looking over at her. She was amazing. He kissed her gently. "I really did intend to wait until you were sober." He smiled. But she was too hard to resist. He laid back on the pillow, hoping and kind of assuming, she wasn't goung to kick him out of her flat. If she did he would quickly get home, and he'd still set up the date, but honestly he'd rather stay here with her. He looked at her, smiling. He knew she wouldn't. He could tell that she liked him too, that she was interested at least.

Slowly it just happened and fell into place. She wasn't sure how it just worked, but they had. She liked that about them things just seemed to fall together without either one of them getting the wrong ideas about it all. She felt him kiss her again and she returned it as she felt him fall back next to her. She then smiled a bit as she heard what he'd intended, and she laughed as she spoke, "Just know you are special enough to get laid before the first date." She gave him a teasing kiss on the nose and then she moved around to get comfortable in her bed. She snuggled into him and waited till he got the point and held her. She smiled once he did and she closed her eyes a bit as she jokingly spoke, "You at least taking two weeks or will you be cleaning out your locker tomorrow?"
She hadn't waited for his response before she'd slipped into sleep. She slept better than she'd remembered in a long time. When she woke up she blinked a few times and rubbed at her head feeling the pounding in it she wanted to scream, but knew it would only make the feeling worsen.

Costin had been about to answer when he realized she was asleep. He slowly fell asleep after she did, and woke up first. He quietly slipped out of bed and went into the kitchen. He made coffee and quickly whipped up a hang over potion. He grabbed the coffee and the potiion and headed up to her room again. "Morning." He said, his voice low. First he handed her the potion. "I was better at Transfiguration, but this was one potion I managed to nail." He smiled, then handed over the coffee. "I didn't know if you took it black or with cream and sugar..." He had his own black coffee in his hand, he took a drink of the scalding liquid, tha twas actually a very dark brown, not black, but whatever.
He took another drink and watched her. He had pulled his pants back on, but not his shirt. He didn't know if she'd regret last night. After all... she had slept with a former employee nine years her junior. "Oh and no two weeks notice, I don't think You'll have trouble finding a replacement." There were plenty of people looking for work and more than half of them would love to work in a place like her bar.

Gabrielle held her head and remembered the night before and turned to look. She didn't see him in the bed and she turned to speak, but then he was speaking gently and like a perfect man was holding a hangover potion and coffee. She gave him a gentle smile as he began to explain. She drained the potion while taking the coffee from his hands. She then set the glass the potion was in the the side. She gave a small smile as she spoke, "It is the best potion, but I had a stock. Thank you though." She would go get the sugar and cream in a moment, but for now she was going to wait for the potion to kick in fully.
Gabrielle watched as he drank his coffee and then he pulled on his pants. She heard his voice and spoke, "You still will be impossible to replace and I still know where you can go if need be with a great recommendation." She stood up and set his coffee on the nightstand next to where hers had landed. She then pulled him back into the bed with her. Once they were there she curled up and spoke, "Just till the potion kicks in and I feel like moving." Her hand randomly drew shapes on his chest as she laid there. It was comforting, why? She wasn't sure. After about ten minutes or so Gabrielle stirred and then got up and smiled, "You hungry? I can cook or we can go out." That would make today their first date. She didn't want to mess up his plans for Friday though.

Costin smiled and got on the bed, just holding her. When she was ready to get up he sat up. "yeah sure, what can you make?" he was kind of picky when it came to breakfast. He didnt' like a lot of things. But he would probably eat whatever she could make. Whatever. He just wanted to make sure she was happy. He leaned in to kiss her then turned to go to the kitchen, He had brought his coffee cup with him and he refilled it. It had taken him a while to find everything this moring, the coffee and the ingrediants for the potion. He tried to put everything back where he had found it and he was pretty sure he got it all right. he ran a hand through his hair and yawned, stretching his arms over his head.
"Well I will say that I generally don't eat sausage." he didnt' like it, he'd force it down if he had to, And he had once or twice. But he really, really disliked it. He looked at her with a smile.
